DULUTH FAMILY SAUNA
REFRESH & RELAX
Established in the 1920s, Duluth Family Sauna is a steam bath near the shores of Lake Superior. Duluth Family Sauna is a wonderful place to meet with old friends, make new ones, or have quiet time in the effort to refresh & re-energize yourself.
Duluth Family Sauna
OUR STORY
Built in the 1920's at it's present location, Duluth Family Sauna was a necessity for the Swedish & Finnish miners, loggers, and railroad men who embarked upon Duluth on weekends. As people settled down into homes with proper indoor plumbing, public saunas/bath houses rapidly began to close down.
In 1969, Duluth Family Sauna (formerly known as Duluth Steam Baths) was purchased by Herb Jensen, after years of slow deterioration and change in management.
